Activated Buckwheat Bircher

Lately i’ve been loving this combo both for breakfast and on the go snacks.
Its so easy to make + so much cheaper to make yourself rather then buying it.

A 100g serving of buckwheat provide 343 calories when consumed RAW, & 92 calories when its been cooked.

It’s also high in protein, fiber, FOUR B vitamins AND contains no gluten! (as it is a seed not a grain).

Therefore your body digests it easier and You feel full for longer.

RECIPE

I activate the Buckwheat Groats buy soaking them in water overnight with some Apple Cider Vinegar. (This will assist the breakdown of Phytic Acid).

Rinse the Groats throughly after they have finished soaking. Then you will want to dry them out (I use my food dehydrator on low, but you can pop them in the oven on very low till they dry).

Mix them up with your favourite nuts, seeds and dried fruit.

I use

Pumpkin Seeds
Sesame Seeds
Sunflower Seeds
Flax Seeds
Dried Mango
Goji Berries
Dried Apple

Breakfast \ Snack Idea

1 cup of Bircher Mix
Juice from 1 Orange
Half an apple grated
Handful of frozen Raspberries
A couple of Tablespoons of Coconut Yogurt

Mix these all together and let stand for atleast an hour or overnight in the fridge.
Before eating I top with Banana, Strawberries and some maple syrup.

SO BAWSE!
